Overview
Countdowns is a simple event countdown app. We collect only what's necessary to provide the service and nothing more. We don't sell your data, show you ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address. When you use the app, we store the countdowns you create — including event names, dates, and any details you add.
How we use it
We use your email address to create and manage your account and to send transactional emails such as account confirmation, password resets, and security notifications. We use your countdown data solely to provide the app experience.
Who we share it with
We use the following services to operate Countdowns:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Postmark — transactional email delivery
These are service providers only. They process your data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Data retention
Your data is stored for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your email address and countdowns — is permanently deleted immediately.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app under Settings → Delete Account.

Children's privacy
Countdowns is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
